Police are investigating an incident at Burton where a man was shot.
Just before midnight on Saturday 16 February, police and emergency services were called to a house in Alberta Drive, after reports of a fight between a group of people.
One man was shot in the chest, and he was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious condition, but was later released after treatment.
Another person may have also been injured by the firearm.
The male suspect left the scene in a car, and police are currently searching the area for him.
Investigations are continuing, and police wish to reassure the community that this is not believed to be a random incident.
