Police are appealing for public assistance after a number of shots were fired at a house in Braybrook early this morning.
Police have been told a number of shots were fired into the front of a house on Ashley Street just after 5am.
Shots were also fired at a white Subaru sedan parked in the street.
A man was home at the time of the incident and not injured.
Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are currently on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
