Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding an alleged shooting in Lara tonight (27 November).
Emergency services were called to a Bacchus Marsh Road address just before 6pm responding to reports a man had been shot.
The yet to be formally identified man was located and taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined at this stage and the investigation is ongoing.
