Echo Task Force detectives are appealing for public assistance following a shooting incident at a gym with Comanchero OMCG links in Carrum Downs early this morning, Victoria Police say.
Investigators believe two shots were fired through the front roller door of the gym on Frankston-Dandenong Road about 3.05am.
One person was in the gym at the time and was not injured.
Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are keen to speak to anyone that saw any suspicious activity in the area.
Police are aware of escalating tensions between the Rebels and Comanchero OMCGs and are actively monitoring these groups.
The community can be assured and confident that Victoria Police will continue its strong focus on any criminal activities associated with rival Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs and any other groups.
