Police investigate Snake Valley fires

Police are appealing for witnesses to a series of fires in the Chepstowe and Snake Valley areas on 6 February.

Arson chemists have determined that the four fires appear to have been deliberately lit.

Two fires were lit on Browns Lane near the intersection of Hillcrest and Burrumbeet Road in Snake Valley between 3.45pm-4pm.

The other two fires were lit on Chepstowe-Pittong Road in Chepstowe near the intersection of Carngham Lake Goldsmith Road between 4pm-4.10pm.

Police are hoping to speak with the driver of a silver or grey Ford Ranger that was seen in the area at the time and was last seen travelling along Lightwood Road onto Racecourse Road.
