Police investigate St Albans death 7 July

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in St Albans overnight.

Emergency services were called following reports an injured man was found on an Emily Street nature strip, on Wednesday 6 July, about 11.45pm.

Attending police provided first aid to the man before ambulance paramedics arrived.

The man, believed aged in his 20s, sadly died at the scene.

Detectives are investigating reports an argument was heard in the vicinity of where the man was found.

It's believed three to four men were seen leaving the area towards Margrave Street.

Police have cordoned off the area and a crime scene has been established.
