Police investigate stabbing at Glen Iris

Boroondara Crime Investigation Unit detectives are hoping to identify two men following a stabbing in Glen Iris early this morning.

Police have been told two men entered the back garden of a house on Adrian Street when they were disturbed by two occupants just before 4am.

A man and woman both aged in their 50s, confronted the offenders when an altercation occurerd and they were both stabbed to the upper body.

The male offenders, both believed to be aged in their 20s, fled the scene.

They are described as Caucasian in appearance and were both wearing dark clothing.

The victims were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have been in the area at the time of the incident.
