Police investigate stabbing at Rosebery

Police are investigating a stabbing at Rosebery.

At 11.40pm (Thursday 4 April 2019), emergency services were called to Crewe Place after reports of an injured male.

An 18-year-old man was located at the scene with several stab wounds. He was taken to St Vincent's Hospital where he is understood to be in a stable condition.

Officers from Redfern Police Area Command established a crime scene and are conducting inquiries.

Two males described as Asian appearance and wearing black clothing were seen leaving the area on foot.

No arrests have yet been made, however inquiries into the incident continue.
