Police are investigating an assault at Taperoo last night, where a man was stabbed in the leg.
About 11.30pm on Thursday, 25 April police and emergency services were called to a house on Military Road after reports that a man had forced his way into the property and stabbed the victim several times in his leg.
The offender then left the scene, and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
Police believe that both men are known to each other, and this was not a random incident.
