Police Investigate Targeted Incident In Old Beach

Police are investigating a targeted incident in Old Beach overnight where two offenders reportedly broke into a residence and stole about $10,000 worth of Louis Vuitton items.

Police were called to the scene in Fouche Avenue about 1.20am after a report of two offenders, armed with a machete and what is believed to be a firearm, breaking into a house and forcing the occupant to open the safe.

Investigators believe the offenders attended the attended the scene in a VR or VS model Holden Commodore sedan with mag wheels.

Police located the vehicle completed destroyed by fire about 1.45am in Tea Tree Road, Tea Tree.

Detectives believe the incident was targeted and are calling on people with CCTV or dash cam footage, captured between 1am in Old Beach area and 1.45am in the Tea Tree area of a VR or VS model Holden Commodore - or anyone acting suspiciously - to come forward.
