Police are investigating the theft of a 10-month-old puppy in South Yarra yesterday.
Investigators have been told the black cavoodle, 'Dora', was tied to a pole outside a shopping plaza on Chapel Street, near Malcom Street about 3.25pm.
Whilst the owner was inside the centre, three unknown women are understood to have untied Dora and were last seen walking north along Chapel Street, with Dora in tow.
All three offenders are described as Caucasian, aged in their 20s to 30s, with long and medium brown hair.
The first woman was wearing a grey crop top and black pants, the second was wearing dark tracksuit and Nike T-shirt and the third offender was wearing dark jeans and a dark coloured hoodie.
Dora was wearing a pink collar, pink leash and is microchipped.
Police have released images of the woman they would like to speak to in relation to the incident, along with an image of Dora in the hope someone may know where she is.
