Police investigate thefts and deceptions across Yarragon and Narre Warren

Trafalgar police are investigating after thieves used a stolen credit card to embark on a personal shopping spree, Victoria Police say.

Investigators have been told unknown offenders were involved in a number of overnight thefts from motor vehicles in the Yarragon area between 9 May and 10 May.

They took a credit card from one of the vehicles, which had been parked on Woodlawn Boulevard.

The card has subsequently been used to purchase petrol at a service station on the Princes Highway, Longwarry.

It was also used to splurge on items such as mobile phone credits, clothing, shoes, jewellery and a laundry hamper from a department store on Overland Drive, Narre Warren.

Police have released images and CCTV footage of two men and a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The men are described as having slim builds and aged in their mid-20s.

The woman also had a slim build with dyed red hair and is believed to be aged in her mid-20s.

Anyone who recognises the pair or has information in relation to the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
