Police investigate thefts at Ringwood, Forest Hill and Vermont South

Police at Forest Hill are investigating the theft of alcohol at four bottle shops in Ringwood, Forest Hill and Vermont South this month.

Investigators have been told two men entered the stores on Canterbury Road in Ringwood, Glebe Street in Forest Hill and Burwood Hwy in Vermont South on 13 May between 5pm and 6pm.

It is believed the men stole several bottles of top shelf alcohol, valued at $2,728.

Police have been told the men left the stores in what has been described as a white van.

Police have released images of two men who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Both men are described as Caucasian in appearance.

One of the men was wearing a fluro yellow jumper, black pants and a black cap at the time.

The second man was wearing a grey jumper, black shorts and a black cap at the time of the incident.
