Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a house fire in Toorak overnight.
Emergency services were called to the large property on St Georges Road, near Ultimo Court, just before 12.30am.
No one was inside the house, which is currently under renovation, at the time of the fire.
Investigations are ongoing into exact cause of the fire, which is believed to be suspicious at this stage.
An arson chemist will attend the scene this morning.
