Police Investigate Truganina Fatal Collision

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal collision in Truganina last night.

Investigators have been told a blue Honda CRV collided with two vehicles on Hopkins Road about 9.15pm.

A passenger from the Honda, a 17-year-old Kurunjang man, died at the scene.

Three other passengers from the Honda, all boys aged in their teens, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Honda, an 18-year-old Williams Landing man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle, a 23-year-old Tarneit man, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver and passenger from the third vehicle, both 18-year-old women, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision remains ongoing.

Detectives are keen to speak with anyone in the area prior to the collision.
