Police Investigate Two-Vehicle Crash in Rouse Hill

Investigations are continuing after four people were injured following a two-vehicle crash in Sydney's north-west overnight.

About 9.45pm (Sunday 26 March 2023), officers from The Hills Police Area Command were called to Withers Road, near Mile End Road, at Rouse Hill, following reports a Mazda CX9 SUV and a BMW i4 coupe had collided.

The driver of the BMW, a 45-year-old man, underwent a roadside breath test, which allegedly returned a positive result. He was then taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment and for mandatory testing.

The front passenger in the BMW, a 31-year-old woman, was taken to Westmead Hospital in a serious condition.

The driver and passenger of the Mazda, a 49-year-old man and an 18-year-old man respectively, were both taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition. The driver also underwent mandatory testing.

A crime scene was established, with officers from the Crash investigation Unit (CIU) investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
