An investigation has commenced after the bodies of two men were located in a house in the inner city.
About 2pm yesterday (Thursday 3 July 2025), officers from Surry Hills Police Area Command responded to reports of a concern for welfare at a house on Cleveland Street, Surry Hills.
The body of a man was located inside the house and officers established a crime scene.
A short time later, the body of a second man was located in another room.
Both men are believed to have died in the house at different times within the past month.
The identities of the men are yet to be confirmed but are believed to be aged in their 70s and 80s.
A 63-year-old woman who lives at the same house has been spoken to by detectives.
