Police investigating after single-vehicle crash at Parkes

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a single-vehicle crash in the state's Central West yesterday.

Just after 7pm (Wednesday 3 June 2020), emergency services were called to Hartigan Avenue, Parkes, after reports a Holden Rodeo had lost control and rolled, ejecting the passenger.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the passenger, a 28-year-old man, at the scene before being airlifted to Liverpool Hospital, where he is in a critical but stable condition.

Officers from Central West Police District attended and have been told by witnesses, the driver of vehicle was able to free themselves and was seen limping from the scene.

Police hold concerns for the wellbeing of the driver as they may of suffered serious injuries.

Inquiries continue by officers attached to the Crash Investigation unit, and investigators are appealing for motorists who may have been in the area around the time of the crash – particularly those who have dash cam vision – to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
