At approximately 12:10am on 8 April 2022 a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the Merv Gray Auto Parts & Machine Shop, which is located at 114 Invermay Road, Invermay.
The Molotov Cocktail caused a small fire to ignite on the roof of the business and Tasmania Fire Service attended to extinguish the fire.
A male and female have been taken into custody in relation to this matter and are assisting police with their enquiries.
Police would like to speak with any witnesses in the area at the time of the incident or anyone with dash cam footage from the area that may have captured the incident or a silver Nissan X-Trail.
