Police are investigating a deliberately lit fire at a harvesting business at Tulendeena overnight.
Between 6pm last night and 3.30am this morning, offender/s have entered the site on the Tasman Highway and damaged machinery before setting it alight.
The machinery fire subsequently caused a vegetation fire.
Tasmania Fire Service extinguished the fire with Fire Investigators determining the fire was deliberately lit.
Damage is estimated at around 2.9 million dollars.
Anyone with information in relation to the fire is asked to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.
