Police are investigating a deliberately lit house fire on Ashburton Road in Gagebrook last night.
Around 10.20pm emergency services were called to the unoccupied house which was well alight.
Multiple crews from the Tasmania Fire Service extinguished the blaze, with fire investigators determining the fire to have been deliberately lit in several rooms.
Anyone with information in relation to the fire, or someone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the fire, is asked to contact Tasmania Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.
