Police investigating hit and run, Eatons Hill

Police are appealing for witnesses, especially those with CCTV or dashcam vision, following a hit and run traffic crash in Eatons Hill overnight (March 3).

Shortly before midnight, a 18-year-old Arana Hills man was walking across South Pine Road when he was struck by a vehicle which then left the scene.

Members of the public came to the man's assistance and contacted emergency services. He was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a critical condition.

Initial investigations indicate the car involved is a black Kia Rio without a left side mirror.

Police are appealing to the driver of the vehicle to come forward.

Any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision from the Eatons Hill area is also urged to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
