Police Investigating Robbery At Inala

Detectives are appealing for public assistance after a man had his car stolen in Inala late on Saturday night.

Investigations indicate at 11.55pm the man was in his parked Ford Fiesta on Crocus Street when he was approached by five men. One of the men has threatened the man with a large knife and another had a baseball bat.

They demanded the keys to the car. The man complied, and the five men fled the scene in the grey 2011 Ford Focus with Queensland registration 398SHC.

The vehicle was located at 12.40am in Wagawn Street in Woodridge and had been set alight and destroyed.

The men are described as early twenties with black clothing and a dark complexion.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with further information or relevant vision to contact police.

The victim, a 50-year-old Inala man, received minor injuries in the incident.

Investigations are ongoing.
