Police are investigating a robbery at a Regency Park hotel early this morning.
About 2am on Sunday 31 December, two armed men entered a licensed premises on Days Road and threatened staff before grabbing the cash til from behind the counter. One of the suspects was armed with an axe at the time.
The men fled and were last seen heading west on Oban Street.
Thankfully no one was physically injured.
Both suspects were described as about 182cm tall and wearing all black clothing.
Police searched the area with the assistance of Dog Operations however were unable to locate the suspects.
