Police Investigating Shooting Incident At Woodridge

Police are investigating a shooting incident at Woodridge last night, 28 July.

About 8pm, police were patrolling on North Street when they were approached by a man who said he had been shot in the leg.

Officers applied first aid, and a 30-year-old Browns Plains man was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Initial investigations indicate, just before 8pm, the Browns Plains man was involved in an altercation at an address on North Road, resulting in a gunshot wound to his leg.

A crime scene was declared, and investigations are ongoing.

Investigators believe those involved are known to each other and there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Police urge anyone with information or CCTV or dashcam footage that could assist investigations to come forward.
