Police are investigating a shooting incident at Munruben, south of Logan, last night, 2 June.
At 8.30pm, emergency services received a report that a man had been shot at a property on Morris Creek Road.
Police attended and secured the scene, taking a 30-year-old man into custody.
He was released without charge while investigations continue.
The 42-year-old male victim was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
