A man has been shot in the hand by police after he produced a firearm at Flagstone this morning.
Police had been searching for the man after he made threats to harm other people known to him.
Around 11.20am he was located in the street at Flagstone where he produced a firearm at police.
The man sustained a non-life threatening injury to his hand and has been transported to hospital under police guard.
The Ethical Standards Command will investigate the incident.
