Police investigating wounding at Allenstown

Police are investigating the wounding of a man at Allenstown last night.

Just after 7pm, police were called to a Talford Street address following reports of a physical altercation between three men.

Police attended the location where they located a 52-year-old Allenstown man with stab wounds to his chest, lower right torso and a slash to his upper right arm.

Police will allege that two men have left the scene in an unknown direction, possibly driving in a Holden Commodore ute.

Paramedics transported the man to the Rockhampton Hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed or has any information in relation to the incident, to come forward.

Police believe all three men are known to each other.
