At approximately 4.10pm, emergency services responded to a park on Musk Avenue following reports of a serious assault.

Upon arrival, a 16-year-old boy was allegedly located with non-life-threatening stab wounds to his abdomen and legs.

He was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A number of people left the scene prior to police arrival.

He has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm and is due to appear before Brisbane Childrens Court at a later date.
