Police Investigating Wounding At Coorparoo

Detectives are investigating an incident which left three people wounded at Coorparoo this afternoon, 12 February.

Around 5.15pm, emergency services were called to a venue on Main Avenue following reports of a disturbance involving multiple people.

Upon arrival, police located a 20-year-old woman with stab wounds to her head and body.

A 61-year-old man also sustained a stab wound to his abdomen.

They were both transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in non-life-threatening conditions.

A 41-year-old woman also received a minor wound to her arm.

A 33-year-old man, who received minor injuries during the incident, is currently in custody.

Anyone with information in relation to the incident is urged to come forward.
