Police investigating wounding at Doolandella

Detectives from Acacia Ridge Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating a wounding incident that occurred in Doolandella last night, October 15. 

At approximately 9.30pm, emergency services were called to a property along Muhammad Street following reports of a serious assault.

Upon arrival, police located a 29-year-old Yeronga man with non-life-threatening wounds to his shoulder and back. 

He was transported to hospital in a stable condition.

A 32-year-old Inala woman was located uninjured at the scene and is assisting police with inquiries. 

Four other people left the scene prior to the arrival of emergency services. 

Any witnesses or anyone with relevant vision from the area is urged to contact police. 

Investigations are continuing.
