Police investigating wounding at Durack

A man has been charged following the alleged stabbing of another man during an altercation at Durack last night.

It will be alleged at around 10.30pm two men aged 29 and 30 became involved in an argument while visiting an address on Kurrajong Street. The 30-year-old armed himself with a metal pole.

The 29-year-old man produced a knife and allegedly stabbed the other man in the arm and chest before fleeing.

The 30-year-old man was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Police arrested the 29-year-old man at the Kurrajong Street address a short time later.

He was charged with one count of wounding and is due in Richlands Magistrates Court today.
