Police are investigating the wounding of a man at Surfers Paradise last night, 11 March.
Investigations indicate that around 8.30pm, a 25-year-old Southport man was at a pub on Surfers Paradise Boulevard when he was approached by two men who were not known to him.
One of the men allegedly struck the 25-year-old to the face with a glass cup, causing a small laceration to his forehead, before he fell to the ground and was assaulted by both men.
The pair fled in a vehicle.
The 25-year-old man was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
Investigations continue.
