Police issue geo-target SMS to help locate missing woman - Macquarie Park

An SMS geo-targeting alert has been issued for the Macquarie Park area. If you receive an SMS message from +61 444 444 444, this is not a scam.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman missing from Sydney's north west.

Nancy Elderson, aged 91, was last seen at an aged care facility on Balaclava Road at Macquarie Park about 7.30pm today (Sunday 6 November 2022).

Officers attached to Ryde Police Are Command have commenced inquiries to locate her and have since issued an SMS geo-targeting alert.

Family and police hold concerns for Nancy's welfare due to her age. She also lives with dementia and uses a walking frame to assist with mobility.

Nancy is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a thin build and short grey hair.

She was last seen wearing a black and white stripped top, blue pants with a colourful jacket and a red hat.

Anyone who may have seen Nancy, or may know of her whereabouts, is urged to contact police.
