Police Issue Updates On Fatal Crash In Whyalla

Police are investigating a fatal crash at Whyalla.

About 9.25am today (Saturday 14 March), emergency services were called to the intersection of Farrell Street and McBryde Terrace after reports that a Ford station wagon towing a caravan had collided with a cyclist.

The rider, a 76-year-old local man was taken to hospital where he passed away.

Major Crash officers are attending the scene.

Road closures are in place and please avoid the area if possible.

The man's death is the 22nd life lost on South Australian roads this year.
