Police launch investigation into fatal stabbing at Blacktown

An investigation is underway after a fatal stabbing in Sydney's west yesterday.

About 10pm (Wednesday 1 September 2021), emergency services were called to the intersection of Suffolk Street and William Street, Blacktown, following reports of a brawl.

Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command attended and found four people with stab wounds.

A teenage boy was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.

A second teenage boy was also treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Two other males were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

A number of people are assisting police with their inquiries, which are continuing.
