Police lay arson charges, Coomera

Police have dealt with six children after they allegedly set fire to a house in Coomera this afternoon.

It will be alleged around 2.15pm six children attended an unoccupied house in Foxwell Road at Coomera and deliberately started a fire. The fire completely destroyed the house.

The children were seen by witnesses running towards Railway Road where they were located by police a short time later.

Four children aged between 11 and 15 have been charged with arson and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act. Two nine-year-old's assisted police with their inquiries and were released.
