Police have charged four people following a disturbance at a Surfers Paradise hotel on 23 August.
Around 11.30pm, officers were called to the premises after reports a group of people had been evicted from a room for allegedly acting aggressively towards staff, including throwing objects from a balcony.
It will be alleged several members of the group threatened and assaulted staff and then became aggressive towards responding police officers.
During the incident, two police officers sustained minor injuries before additional resources attended and four people were taken into custody.
A 44-year-old Inala man has been charged with serious assault police officer by biting, serious assault police officer, common assault, commit public nuisance and drug offences. He is due to appear at Southport Magistrates Court on August 25.
An 18-year-old Inala man has been charged with serious assault police officer causing bodily harm and commit public nuisance. He is due to appear at Southport Magistrates Court on September 5.
An 18-year-old Acacia Ridge woman has been charged with obstruct police officer, obstruct police licensed premises and commit public nuisance. She is due to appear at Southport Magistrates Court on September 5.
A 17-year-old Durack boy has been charged with serious assault police officer, obstruct police and commit public nuisance. He is due to appear at Southport Childrens Court on August 27.
Investigations are continuing.
