Police lay charges after Lucknow armed robbery

Detectives from the East Gippsland Crime Investigation Unit have charged a teenager following an alleged attempted armed robbery in Lucknow last month.

The 17-year-old Bairnsdale teen has been charged with one count of attempted armed robbery and assault with a weapon following the incident that occurred at a service station on Princes Highway on 22 March about 1.20am.

The teen was bailed to appear at a children's court at a later date.

Detectives are still seeking to identify a second man wanted in relation to the incident and urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 0000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
