Police lay charges - Aggravated robberies at Tennant Creek

Northern Territory Police have charged three youths, aged between 12 and 14, with multiple offences in relation to two separate incidents at Mary Anne Dam on Tuesday afternoon.

A large group of youths were causing disturbances at the lake when they allegedly assaulted a woman and stole her vehicle from the area.

Two female youths were arrested and charged yesterday by the Tennant Creek Investigation Branch. Both were remanded in custody to appear in court today.

A male youth was arrested this morning and has since been charged.

The vehicle was reported to be seen driving dangerously by community members and police are urging anyone with footage in relation to this matter to contact police on 131 444.
