Police Lay Charges - Domestic Violence In Alice Springs 28 November

The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested and charged a 44-year-old male in relation to a serious domestic violence incident that occurred on Wednesday in Alice Springs.

Around 7:10pm on Thursday 27 November, the offender was arrested in relation to an alleged assault on a woman that was known to him that occurred the previous day.

The 44-year-old has since been charged with Choking/Strangulation, Aggravated Assault, and Breach DVO. He is due to appear in court today.
