Major Crash Investigation Unit detectives have charged the 20-year-old male driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal crash in Ngukurr Community on 1 January 2020.
A 24-year-old man died as a result of injuries he suffered during the fatal single vehicle crash.
The 20-year-old male has been charged with:
- Drive Motor Vehicle Cause Death
- Hit and Run Driving Cause Death
- Drive Without Due Care
- Drive a Motor Vehicle While Unlicensed
- Drive Unregistered Motor Vehicle
- Drive Uninsured Motor Vehicle
The male has been remanded in custody until 6 January 2020.
