Police lay charges - Going armed in public at Casuarina

Northern Territory Police have charged a 75-year-old man with going armed in a public place.

At around 4:40pm yesterday, Strike Force Trident detectives observed the man with an edged weapon in the vicinity of the Casuarina Bus Exchange.

He was arrested and later charged with:

  • 1 x Going armed in public

He was remanded to face Darwin Local Court tomorrow.
