Police lay charges over obscene exposure and intimidation of teen at Milperra

A man will face court today charged over the alleged intimidation of a teenager in Sydney's south-west, which included exposing himself.

Police were called to Ashford Avenue, Milperra, about 4pm yesterday (Saturday 24 August 2019), following reports a man was harassing a 14-year-old boy.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command were told the man exposed himself to the teen and yelled obscenities at him as he walked along the street.

After speaking with the teen, police conducted a patrol of the area and located the 36-year-old man hiding in bushes in the front yard of a home on Bullecourt Avenue.

He was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station, where he was charged with wilful and obscene exposure in/near public place/school, trespass, and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm.

The Moorebank man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today (Sunday 25 August 2019).
