Charges - Property offences - Greater Darwin Region

Northern Territory Police have laid further charges against a 22-year-old male who was remanded in late December in relation to a number of stolen property offences.

Strike Force Trident investigators identified evidence that the male allegedly committed a number of offences of similar nature to his initial charges.

The 22-year-old man has been additionally charged with property offences, bringing a total of 50 charges including:

  • 34 x counts of obtain benefit by deception
  • 4 x stealing
  • 3 x damage to property
  • 3 x attempt to commit a crime - fraud related
  • 2 x unlawful entry
  • 2 x unlawfully possess property
  • 1 x attempt unlawful entry
  • 1 x trespass

The man is due to appear in Darwin Local Court on 1 March 2021.
