Police lay charges over unlawful entries at Casuarina

Northern Territory Police have arrested a charged two youths in relation to a number of unlawful entries around Casuarina.

Two male youths, both aged 13, were arrested by Strike Force Trident Detectives yesterday. They have been charged in relation to multiple unlawful entries and one with aggravated robbery, between the 21 to 22 April 2021.

Detectives have charged one of the males with:

  • 1 x Robbery - aggravated
  • 2 x Unlawful entry - building
  • 2 x Damage to property
  • 2 x Stealing
  • 1 x Aggravated unlawful use of motor vehicle
  • 1 x Drive a motor vehicle while unlicensed
  • 1 x Attempt to commit and offence (stealing)

He was remanded and due to appear in court today.

The second male was charged with:

  • 2 x Unlawful entry - building
  • 2 x Damage to property
  • 2 x Stealing
  • 1 x Aggravated unlawful use of motor vehicle

He will be subject to the provisions of the youth justice act (2005).

Detectives are continuing to investigate a number of these incidents.
