Police Lay Murder Charge At Hampton

Police have charged a 45-year-old Crows Nest man with murder as an investigation continues into the suspicious death of a 48-year-old Hampton man.

Detectives from the Toowoomba Criminal Investigation Branch and Homicide Investigation Unit have charged the 45-year-old man in Southport yesterday, 20 October, following investigations into the suspicious disappearance of the 48-year-old man.

Crime scenes have been established at a property in Hampton along with a property in Cressbrook Creek, where forensic examinations continue.

The 45-year-old Crows Nest man has been charged with murder and is expected to appear in Southport Magistrates Court today, 21 October.
