Police have charged a 32-year-old man with murder following the death of a 65-year-old Woodridge man yesterday, 6 October.
Around 7.15am, police attended a North Road unit for a welfare check where they located the 65-year-old man deceased.
A crime scene was declared and Detectives from Logan Criminal Investigation Branch and the Homicide Investigation Unit commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
A 32-year-old man was arrested by police at Beenleigh, around 7.50pm yesterday.
He was subsequently charged with murder and is due to appear before Beenleigh Magistrates Court today, 7 October.
