A man reported missing from Sydney's eastern suburbs has been located safe and well.
A 79-year-old man was reported missing after he was last seen in Cook Avenue, Daceyville, about 6pm yesterday (Friday 15 September 2023).
When he could not be located or contacted, he was reported missing to officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command, who commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.
Following inquiries, including a geo-targeted message appeal, the man was located safe and well in Kogarah about 12.30am today (Saturday 16 September 2023).
Police wish to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
