Police make arrest - Aggravated Assault at Daly Waters

Northern Territory Police have arrested a man in relation to an aggravated assault in Daly Waters last night.

It is alleged that late in the evening, a 41-year-old entered the licenced premises with a chainsaw and threatened patrons.

Patrons attempted to disarm the man and in the process the alleged offender and a 48-year-old man both sustained minor injuries.

Police arrived and the alleged offender was treated at the local clinic, before being taken into custody.

Investigations continue.
